“Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.”
Several times in my life I was almost a step away from starting a Startup. Applauded as great and novel ideas by the few whomever I have shared them with. Mostly due to time constraints and lack of capital (Bootstrapping didn’t help much), none of those ideas really kicked off.
Whenever i come up with an innovative idea and explain it to someone whom i am comfortable to discuss with (Friends, Family and Relatives), all i hear them say – “Dude! You are too young to take such Risks!!”
My answer to them : The first rule for an entrepreneur – “Accept the risk of failure” – You shouldn’t fear failure, but embrace the process that comes along with it and I am ready to take it.
While the likes of Mark Zuckerberg who are of my age have started almost 8 years earlier than me, why not me?
I wish I could find some funding from Angel Investors/ Crowd Funding and hope there are few startup’s in my future, at least few years down the lane……….I want to be a Doer, not a Dreamer!
